1954 Lincoln Sport Coupe

If it is Lincoln-related and doesn't seem to fall in the other categories or you just can't figure out where to put it, put it here!

1954 Lincoln Sport Coupe

Post by Chrispellerin »

Hi folks
I am located in Bathurst New-Brunswick, Canada. I've owned a1954 Lincoln Sport Coupe for 16 years. It was not drivable when I purchased it. It started and drove, but the power steering, brakes, and front end all needed rebuilding. The electrical, gages, radio, lights, seats, windows, were all in various states of disrepair. It took about 4 winters to get the car on the road in a reasonable state.
I've worked on just about everything in this car. I am no expert. Just patient and stubborn. I may be able to answer a few questions, but I probably have more questions than answers.😉
I don't want to make this post too long.
At the moment I am swapping the 317 for a 1957 368. Also swapping the power steering gearbox to a 1957 gearbox from a Lincoln.
It's been more difficult than expected, but it's progressing...
