Cold weather top issues

Post by mjs »

So as every knows once the weather turns cold it’s almost impossible to get your top to fully lock into place. Every year I make the same mistake. I always think that I’ll have time to drive it just one more time and the next thing I know the temp drops. My garage is not heated so it’s either leave the top down or leave it partially up. However I have a better solution. I bundle up and take it down to my shop. I clear out the paint booth, put it in it’s bake cycle, and kick it up to 160 for 15 minutes. Top goes up with no problems.
