Vacuum control turns

Post by brunoffrance »

Hi the Community,

Trying to know about why it's bad when accelerating, I've changed all the timing system , from the sparks to the ignition distributor cover and the famous vacuum control on it . So you have to adjust it with an Allen key for the valve inside by screwing ou unscrewing

to contact or final position;

From this zero contact, how many turns you count ? I've red 1 turn down after contact but is-it right ?

my car is a MKIV, 73 and the big engine 7,5 litres

thank you for your advices .
