Convertible Top won’t lower after unlocking

I cannot get the top to retract on my 67, far it will unlock the top, then nothing. Also, the power goes to the dash switch, but not the key.
Any suggestions?

First question: Do you have a factory shop manual?
If not, PM me or buy one.

Lock then unlock the top using the UP/DOWN switch. If it continues, the you TOP UNLOCKED switch inside the top header is marginal or needs a slight adjustment.

If that doesn’t work, remove the header cover and inspect the mechanism to locate the switch that is being pushed by the mechanism. Push the switch against the metal bracket or adjust the switch to be pushed more by the bracket.

You could have a bad TOP DOWN relay. It’s one of the relays in the trunk. The manual identifies it. If it doesn’t click, then it’s bad.
