Congrats!

You've sure hung in there and done a pile of work to get her to this point. Looks good.

The green/grey part is known as the speedometer driven gear. These are commonly only available from Parts cars. The base part number is 17271.

Example: For a Mark V with a 2.50:1 axle, there are two PNs listed
C7SZ-17271-A
if the drive gear is 8 teeth and
D0AZ-17271-B for a drive gear of 9 teeth.
However, both of these list tires sizes for the application using the old-school sizing method (H78x15, GR78x15, etc.)

These are just examples.

The color indicates the ratio. Remove the clip to remove the part from the cable and on one end should be a number and the letter T.
This indicates the number of teeth. Or count them.

I see a red or pink thing on the end. It looks like the very end of the gear broke off. When this happens, transmission fluid can pass into the cable and into the passenger compartment. This is a common reason this gear is replaced.

Without knowing the rear axle ratio, I can't give you a part number to search online.
I found gears at amazon.com.

The red part is the part that actually grabs the cable. I call it the nipple.

Find an 18 tooth version on amazon or ebay and you should be OK.
