63 aircleaner wing nut

Details such as correct colors, plating material, inspection marks, orientation, and even the number of wipes that should occur for a vacuum-powered windshield wiper system after pushing the "wash" button.

63 aircleaner wing nut

Post by papawayne »

Hi folks, just got my judging sheets back from the Hyde Park show. I've got an authenticity manual, but I'm really too lazy to look this up. What is the wing nut on the aircleaner supposed to look like? All three judges wrote it down, but made no comment. Surely it is an easy fix for half a point. Wayne

If it had been me, Wayne ............ I would have been nervous that the judges were referring to me as a wingnut. Common here in this part of Canada to refer to an oddball personality as a wingnut.

I'll admit that I'm a living, breathing wing nut....there's honor in that actually. I'll also honor the judges' comment. I have no interest in starting a firestorm. Just wish i had asked, thanks, Stu for the photo. Love you car, wish we had been parked next to each other at the show....someday...Wayne

Yeah, we really wanted to make it to at least one show this year but our travels prohibited it. Maybe next year...

Heading out Wednesday for the Hilton Head Concourse.
