Re: 63 Convertible 4.6 Build
Sorry everyone....got distracted a bit with work.
I am working on milling the new wheels a bit...I ordered them with what I thought was the proper bolt circle, but apparently my measurements and theirs are a tad bit off.
Regardless, I have to install the 220 in the garage tomorrow. Once that is done, the fuel tank sump can be welded together and I can finish the fab on the tranny mount...as well as my bolt circle milling.
Stay tuned, it will be a busy week.

Well, at least the wheels are getting closer in proximity to the car. You know we can't wait to see them on her.

Re: 63 Convertible 4.6 Build
As you can see here...the wheels tuck nice and neat under the fenders and they also do a good job in concert with the CV k-member in coming full out to the edge of the opening in order to fill that space up so when she is lower...it will look centered and full.
I bolted up the wheels to get the shot...but you can see I have already started dismantling the front macpherson strut set up in order to start peeling away the old stuff and getting the new stuff in there...
I have gotten set back so much with her due to work...but, I have been told I am going to be chilling out for a bit...and with the move to the compound in the woods and this big garage...I definitely have what I need to focus!

Re: 63 Convertible 4.6 Build
There is a good amount of room on either side. Even though the wheel arch is an asymmetrical shape...I think I did a good enough job getting the wheel centered.
The last shot I included for the look from the sidewall to the front of the car. I am going to roll the fenders a bit but keep the outside flute outward in order to keep the stock side view without the stainless...mainly because my wheel wells are so tore up from rust and bondo applications by previous owners that they are going to need a lot of massaging anyway.
Plus, I am spending so much time on the peak stainless...I don't want anyone distracted from those monsters!! LOOK AT IT!! DAMN IT!!! LOOK AT MY HALF ASSED BUT PERSONALLY POLISHED PEAK MOULDING!!!!!!
sorry...I digress.
