I’m using a different back end so it’s impossible to search on model years using two digits or other terms like PVC or TVS with only three.

I’ll look into a fix.

All, as a possible workaround you can type something like this into your address bar to perform a search for shorter search terms:
pcv site:thelincolnforum.net
tvs site:thelincolnforum.net

Just type whatever it is you want to search for followed by one space, then site:thelincolnforum.net
