Chrome Restoration Recs

Post by Dshaw840 »

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a 62 vert. Very excited as this is my a bucket list car for me. Been looking for the right car for years. We are starting the restoration process. Looking for any recommendations for Chrome restoration. I am in California. I’ve heard of a place in Tennessee but not sure about the name. Thanks for any responses.

A lot will depend on whether you want Pebble Beach or just driver quality chrome. Or something in-between. Biiig difference in the price. The place in Nashville:

I've used Advanced Plating on everything I've done and I can't say enough good stuff about it. I've met the owner before... super nice guy. If they are attending a show near you ... you can even drop your parts off with them at the event. To me it is worth it in the long term. I couldn't be happier with my rear bumper on my '64 they did a few years back!

Whoever you use, don't use Frankfort Plating in Philly.

I've used Paul's Chrome just outside of Pittburgh and they did a great job.
