Seat stain
57 Lincoln Capri. What is the material made of that is outside of cloth area on the seats? Mine is a grey color and I want to remove a used engine oil stain. Any suggestions on what would be a good procedure. Stain is about a week old.

Yeah. Tetrachloroethylene. Old-school dry cleaning fluid. Except it’s been nearly regulated out of existence. I keep my supply next to my R12, mercury thermometers, incandescent lightbulbs, and copy of the constitution. You’ll have to pay out the wazoo if you want some, but it works great.
