Well I have my ‘77 Coupe home!

Post by John Mc »

Hi guys, I just bought the ‘77 Town Coupe Glass Top home and I’m super excited! Yes, it will need some work, but the bones are good and these glass tops are getting really hard to find.
It came from Ohio, 460, cast wheels with 73,000 miles.
Two things I’m already seeking, a high quality trunk material and the AM-FM 8-Track unit which is MIA. With this purchase came an AM-FM radio for the 78-79 years and it’s in really great shape. Anyone want to trade??

You're not looking for the Quadraphonic 8 track? The harness is already wired for it, I found one for my old '77 on eBay.

Great find, I have wanted a glass top coupe since '79 when I worked at a L.M. dealership. Too rich for me then and too rare for me now!

Driving the 2006 Mark LT! Love it

Guessing you have already done the chains, tensioner, guides, phasers, vvt solenoids, oil pump, and bank 1 cylinder head on that 5.4? That 3 valve modular motor was a real masterpiece of engineering! :smt011

No, just plugs at this point................but I know the phasers and chains are coming!
I must write that I love my LT and hauling the glass top with it was quite a picture.

Thank you, I feel VERY fortunate to have found it. Yes, sunroofs are cool, but this glass top blows me away!

Guys on Friday I repurchased another ‘77 Town Coupe from Denver. So, I’ll be selling this glass top. I have some things still to do on the car, but if you have interest in it, let me know. Open to any reasonable offers. Car needs help and will be priced accordingly. Need to move it and the glass top is perfect.

Yea, it’s crazy but I found out this Black Diamond Coupe was again available.
So, that’s why I’m thinking I’ll buy that one and send the glass top down the road.
