The weatherstripping that seals the window glass to the windshield and roof. Mine is crunchy. Chrunchy is good in cereal, but not on cars. I understand the pieces interchange with Thunderbirds.

Steele is in the process of manufacturing new roof rail and door seals. In production, but not yet available.

Good to know! Will this be a “cut and fit” item, or specifically made to fit our cars? Our family had a ‘69 LTD, and as I recall, the window opening looked the same. The Fomoco 2 door hardtops od that era all have what appears to be the same silhouette.

Going to be exact as original when they are finished including any molded ends or joints. Door moldings will also have the retention clips integrated. They are using good used and NOS pieces to replicate it

Steele is the manufacturer that Rubber the Right Way gets all of their stuff from and often sells it for more than Steele itself does. I have bought things from both over the years

Back in 1974 I bought pieces from them for my ‘41 Chevy. That’s how established they are! Glad to see they’re still around.
