1966 Lower alternator bracket- What finish?

Details such as correct colors, plating material, inspection marks, orientation, and even the number of wipes that should occur for a vacuum-powered windshield wiper system after pushing the "wash" button.

1966 Lower alternator bracket- What finish?

The authenticity manual does not specify what finish/color the lower alternator bracket is. Mine looked like it was unpainted. I would appreciate it if you know what it was from Wixom.

I went with Satin black as I believe the one I got from a parts car had a little bit of black.
I believe it was also plated under the rust/paint. Plated because paint didn't cut it. I found many black brackets to be plated underneath.

I agree that it must have been painted. Mine was bare metal. I don't recall any Ford blue on it. If anything It might have had black paint on it- but no blue.

Thanks for the reply. I am painting it black semi gloss- final answer.
