1964 Lincoln Cont. Conv. fuel tank

Thanks Rick. On my first 65 in 1995, I had to open the hood, remove the air cleaner lid, spray starter fluid, then start. Of course this was unnecessary if I drove the car daily. Your version would save one step. The fuel pump switch on/off option that Mike Munger talked about is appealing. And doesn't require much modification. On suicide slabs the fuel pump is often blamed for being noisy and irritating if it is required to be on all the time.

Mike Munger, yes that is the exact experience my friends have had. Just seems like the the perfect addition to a classic car!

With a relay, a pressure switch, and the "wait to start" light from a diesel, you could have a fully automatic system!
Or am I overdesigning it?
