I wish someone would find the source on front Rotors. They have too been cross referenced from anther vehicle and the usual suspects just know which one it is. Most likely they are off a Jeep.

Thank you for posting this, we did the dual master conversion on the '61 using local NAPA and Kragen auto parts.

I don't think we have $50 in the whole setup including the rebuilt master. We did also not need to do the pushrod mod, perfect legnth right off the bat no problemo

Those of you thinking about converting your single master this could not really be an easier modification, and it provides safety over the original single what's there not to love

Jaydee, I am resurrecting this thread to say thanks. Wasn't ready to fork out 2 hundred for a 30 dollar Master Cylinder.

65 to 69 front brake hoses are all the same.

61 to 64 front brake hoses are the same. It is not known if these hoses will work.

If you can buy (and return if they don't fit) these hoses locally, it's worth a shot.

I bought the front hoses locally. They look just like the hoses in the parts manual. i am trying to replace the hose on the pass side. It comes from the crossover metal line to a junction box on the caliper. There does not seem to be any nut on it. It looks like it is part of the junction box. I have an early 65 production around Sept 25 1964.

Correction, the junction block is not on the caliper, it in on a bracket that goes between the caliper bolts.

The story continues. The old house has a brass block on the end. This attaches to the bracket between the bolts holding the caliper on. From this brass block a 3/16 line comes out and connects to the caliper. Next to this hole on the caliper is another holes that is for the transfer line, from one side of the caliper to the other. Can I just connect the rubber hose directly to the caliper eliminating the brass block and the small 3/16 line? I will of course still use the transfer line.

Yes, you can, Tony.

I bought the "cheaper" non-show-correct lines from Baker's years ago and installed them. They hook up directly to the caliper. I even left the fancy bracket and brass-block assembly on the calipers and just clipped off the old line.

Don't tell any judges.

I am looking at the 65 Parts manual for the front disc brakes. It shows two part #'s B7C 1202-A Cup(Front Wheel Bearing) Inner 2-9/16" O.D. and LF 1217-A CUP (FRONT etc.. ) Outer. This is not to be confused with the seal on the inner hub of the rotor. Are these available locally? Is there a part #? Thanks.

Wheel bearings are seals are available for 65-69 Lincolns just about everywhere. Start with your favorite shop.
