Its official I bought it today, the absolutely perfect engine for a slab side. Plenty of horsepower plenty of torque and a guesstimated 25mpg. It fits and absolutely no one has ever done it before
Any guesses what it is?
The build will progress alongside my in progress 56 F100 with the modular coyote motor from the current mustang GT ifs 4 link rear on shockwaves.
This Lincoln is for the wife and she is picking everything.

If you hadn't said nobody has ever done it before, I would have guessed a mid 60's 430. That fits and is the perfect engine for a slab side. But then you tossed in those other two qualifiers. I'd be afraid, very afraid if nobody has ever done it before. Especially in the same paragraph with "It fits".kwfromm wrote:Its official I bought it today, the absolutely perfect engine for a slab side. That'd be cool... The EcoBoost is awesome. I was towing an 11,000lb trailer today with an EcoBoost F150. LOVE IT!sauceman wrote:Eco boost?

Fixing something on an old Lincoln is like sex with a hot woman - one time will never get the job done right.

It is the ecoboost, will arrive this week. I'll make sure to document the progress with lots of photos, dimensions, clearances and issues.
