1961 Convertible Door Screws

Were the screws in the carpet at the bottom of the door panel black like the ones in the floorboard or chromed with a washer ? Thanks for any help ! Barry

On my year 1963 they were chrome with the surrounding ring, I believe 61 was the same.

On page 12 of the 1961 sales brochure you can see the chrome heads buried in the carpet (aqua vert picture).
