Looks like there's an "Ignore" feature available with 3.0 -- would certainly welcome that. A way to block boastful, self-promoting, and self-absorbed posts, finally. Effectively silence heap big wind that blows from direction of Lakes, as it were.

Bring on 3.0's "Ignore" and less distraction, the ability to concentrate on interesting posts without having to slog through those that trumpet all personal information but one's Soc Sec and PIN numbers.

Brings that poll, where is it or was it deleted -- the "How much money do you make, is it more than me and who said you could do that?" one. I can't find it now.

I, too, would welcome an ignore feature.

I'm comfortable with the current version, but welcome change, as long as it's an improvement.
I would prefer to keep the poster on the left.

Hey Dan, it is simliar to the Monte Carlo car club website.
It gives you more room to add more new topics from time to time.
Besides my 1959 Continental, I have several 1984-1986 Monte Carlo Super Sports with 400 engine and factory T-tops. All of them are dark maroon color.
Guess what? my 1959 Continental gets better gas mileage than the muscle Monte Carlos!
That is an improvement? The messages have huge margins and are much harder to read, the letters are smaller and compressed.

Do they have a BIG PRINT version? :D
You can change the size of the text as a function of your browser. It's usually in the "View" menu.

Just realized, there's also a font size button on the right side of the screen in the light blue bar, just above the "logout" link. :)

It has been mentioned before that it is difficult to read... there is no contrast between each users post and the text is very small. May get used to it eventually though....

Mark, see my previous post about the font size button. It's on the right side of the screen, just below the header (right above the logout link).

Thanks Ann, much better. (buttpn blended in too much to see it without knowing exactly where to look)

Now is there a button someplace that will show all the new post since last time I was here?

I pulled the trigger last night. I will be tweaking the look over the next few weeks.

It may take some getting used to.

Mark- I'd use the quote function, but it isn't working for me. :)

Yes, there is a new posts link. Threads with new posts have a little yellow note next to the title. Click that, and it'll take you to the new stuff in that thread. To see only the threads with new items, click the "View New Posts" link on the main index page, just above the "News and Information" box. It's on the left side of the screen, below the date.
