Last Ride of 2021

If it is Lincoln-related and doesn't seem to fall in the other categories or you just can't figure out where to put it, put it here!

Last Ride of 2021

Post by rick »

This may or may not work, guys. Never a computer or cell phone video genius, it would still appear appear that I have been able to upload a video that I took during my final ride of the season. It would also appear as if the voice-over disappeared somewhere. Oh well, I probably said very little of real interest.

It was a rare December day (Dec16/21) in Canada with absolutely no snow plus sixty degree temperatures. So I got my Lincoln out for the twenty-six mile roundtrip ride to Merrickville for some Christmas shopping before sliding it back into the garage for it's winter hibernation. Rick

Well Rick, the video worked, and the car looks as good inside as it does out. Sure wish I could drive mine around. And I sure like that Ontario countryside, but it is a couple weeks too late for the colours.
I made a video driving my '68 parts car through the field, and the same thing happened to the audio, worked okay on the camera, but almost nothing after I transferred it.

Nice video. I like the 2 interior.
Some of the audio worked OK. 60 degree weather and the jab at Stu

Thanks for the ride! Enjoyed the trip. I know you will be happy when spring makes an appearance, to get your wonderful car out on the road again.

Thanks Howard,

Love those Mk 2's like yours. Love'em.......... some day I might even own one, never can tell.

I remember the first time I saw one (stored in the old Alcan Aluminum factory in Kingston, Ontario) and also the last time (followed behind plus drove alongside an elderly silver-haired gentleman on the College Parkway in Fort Myers, Florida two winters ago)....... he had Michigan plates on it.

Cheers

Nice video. I enjoyed the ride.

Have you checked out the LCOC site for the current Flashback. It is a short story about owning a Mark II. It is a great lesson on how to choose your friends.
