Have you seen this 1948 Continental ?

If it is Lincoln-related and doesn't seem to fall in the other categories or you just can't figure out where to put it, put it here!

Have you seen this 1948 Continental ?

Post by John Mc »

Guys, recently I was fortunate enough to purchase a 1948 Continental Continental from near Detroit. It was owned for many years by a Mr. Arthur Snider of Macomb Michigan.

John,

Do you have more info on this car? Is it a V-12 with overdrive? or without? My ex's Uncle is a major league collector in Southeast Pennsylvania. He sold a Lincoln Convertible in that color scheme from his collection. He (his crew) did the restoration on the one he sold. If it came from his collection it is a VERY high end restoration as he is a perfectionist. He had a web page on the car I am going to have to see if I can find it or call my son and get it again.

Thanks Rob, I don’t think is the same car because for the last 25 years or so it’s been in Detroit. Yes it is a V-12 with overdrive.

Thanks Dave, it’s not as nice as it might appear. I’d call it a nice driver.
