Crusin' the '63 on old Rt.66

If it is Lincoln-related and doesn't seem to fall in the other categories or you just can't figure out where to put it, put it here!

Crusin' the '63 on old Rt.66

Post by Suicidekid63 »

Just a few pics from my cruise, today. My buddy rode along in his 1964 Olds Dynamic 88.
This is in Conway, Mo, about 15 minutes from me off of Rt.66.
Enjoy!!

Steve,

Great shots! Can you please shoot me those addresses or GPS coordinates? We're driving cross country after the Minneapolis show and also driving to the Albuquerque show.

Thanks,

Stu

Stu,
The Lincoln dealership and gas station are in Conway Missouri, off of I-44 at the 113 exit. Take W. Jefferson, (J hwy) into town until you come to the railroad tracks. It's on your left. The gas station is just before the dealership.
The brick building is Phillipsburg, Mo. off of I-44 at the 118 exit. Just take Pine street into town, until you hit the railroad tracks. The building is at the corner of the 3 way stop.
All of these can also be traveled on the old hwy 66 which runs parallel to I-44 E/W.

Right outta the fridge, man! 8)

You wouldn't happen to plan to make a wrong turn into Kansas and wind up in Junction City, would you? Could make for some good bragging on the mileage thread for the year. ;) *nudge-nudge*

Really nice pictures, Steve, I'm finally getting mine out and taking some rides, a little longer each time. I'm loving it, as I can see you are. Wayne

Jon, Next time you're at Carl's, the gas station and Ford dealership are in Conway, right on the way to Lebanon!!

Stu,
Forgot to mention, if you take the 130 exit off of I-44 at Lebanon, you can also hit Rt.66 and check out the Munger Moss motel. Very cool. Try to go at night, as they have refurbished the sign out front and it now is lit like originally.
Just take Millcreek Rd.(Rt.66) to lights and turn right onto Rt.66 outer road, that runs parallel to I-44. About 200 yards on the right.
