While working on a repair to my HVAC system in my 64, I found this had slipped down behind the dash. I was assured when I bought the car from the estate of her original owner nearly 10 years ago now, that the mileage shown on the odometer was correct. I have several other service records that are in line with this oil change record, and indicators such as wear and tear make it seem correct. But does one really know when you are told that?
Finding this made me feel pretty good. It obviously helps validate the low mileage. I suppose it could have been 127,668 back in 79 but I don't think so...
Current Odometer reading: In case you can't read it, it's 38,575 today. I have driven it just under 4500 miles in the last 10 years.
Oil Change Card Dated 12-3-79:
I wonder if she got Ranger Oil?
Nice Find

Re: Nice Find
Thats not much wear on the car. It might be around for another 50 years if you convert it to electric. Did you replace those dash lights with LEDs?
