Post your custom, unusual, and freaky Lincolns here

If it is Lincoln-related and doesn't seem to fall in the other categories or you just can't figure out where to put it, put it here!

I know I've posted one picture of this very oddball (yet very neat) customized '68 Coupé here in the past; but since renewed interest in it has popped up, I'm posting it again, along with several more stills I managed to come across since I had first posted. Please note, I have never seen this car up close and personally; but I really like the way it was refitted (well, save for the wagon wheels, but that's not really important right now) and saved all the pictures I could find of it. If anyone knows the owner of this car, or if the owner sees this, please understand I'm not muscling in on your copyright bizz, I'm just sharing a really neat conversion. Honestly, if I had the resources available, I'd probably want to perform this conversion myself. I kind of wish Lincoln had done it from the beginning.

I saw that as well from 24hours of lemons

I am considering (with several other guys in the LCOC) entering a Mark VIII into a race.
There is a track South of Tucson that 24hours usually uses. That race is typically in the early Spring.
Alas COVID19 has played havoc. The 2021 schedule has not been released. So not sure if we will do a hoopty race or not.
Looks like a lot of fun.

- Six-Wheeled 1971 Lincoln Continental Pickup -

This custom Mark III is listed on Facebook’s classifieds and given its strange, lengthy design, we're betting it's the only one of its kind.

That battery cable splice is kinda scary.

Relocated starter solenoid. It's no less unsafe than the exposed positive battery cable end, except it's "different".
