Post your custom, unusual, and freaky Lincolns here

If it is Lincoln-related and doesn't seem to fall in the other categories or you just can't figure out where to put it, put it here!

I know I've posted one picture of this very oddball (yet very neat) customized '68 Coupé here in the past; but since renewed interest in it has popped up, I'm posting it again, along with several more stills I managed to come across since I had first posted. Please note, I have never seen this car up close and personally; but I really like the way it was refitted (well, save for the wagon wheels, but that's not really important right now) and saved all the pictures I could find of it. If anyone knows the owner of this car, or if the owner sees this, please understand I'm not muscling in on your copyright bizz, I'm just sharing a really neat conversion. Honestly, if I had the resources available, I'd probably want to perform this conversion myself. I kind of wish Lincoln had done it from the beginning.

I saw that as well from 24hours of lemons

I am considering (with several other guys in the LCOC) entering a Mark VIII into a race.
There is a track South of Tucson that 24hours usually uses. That race is typically in the early Spring.
Alas COVID19 has played havoc. The 2021 schedule has not been released. So not sure if we will do a hoopty race or not.
Looks like a lot of fun.

- Six-Wheeled 1971 Lincoln Continental Pickup -
This custom Mark III is listed on Facebook’s classifieds and given its strange, lengthy design, we're betting it's the only one of its kind.

Relocated starter solenoid. It's no less unsafe than the exposed positive battery cable end, except it's "different".

'75 according to the placard on the windshield. I wonder where that show is? It'd be cool to enter Frankenstein into a show without his looking out of place. A show dubbed "Concours d'Lemons" sounds like the ideal such venue.

Tony, the Concours d'Lemons is held in Seaside, CA during Car Week. There is also one in Fernandina Beach FL. I've been to the one in Seaside a number of times. It's a fun show.

I think the 24 Hours of Lemons would be way more entertaining!

Yes, either would be interesting, though where Concours d'Lemons is concerned I'd probably try the Florida venue if I were inclined. Considering the loss I suffered last year, however, inclinations to visit Florida have significantly dropped, unless it's to handle probate details of my mother's estate that I'd have to be physically present to handle.

But, if 24 Hours of Lemons holds a venue in Texas, and if the timing is right, I think it would be interesting to see if Frankenstein can break his speedometer. I'd think, after a core rebuild that involved a 6-cid increase, that would be likely.

Hard to believe, but nobody has posted the 1964 Deathmobile.

For you kids out there, this was from the seventies movie “Animal House”, which seemed roaringly funny at the time, but would likely offend large segments of the populace today.
