Shop Manual Scanning Project

If it is Lincoln-related and doesn't seem to fall in the other categories or you just can't figure out where to put it, put it here!

Hope this works out, everything is legible....I forgot how big the manual was compared to my scanning bed. If this doesn't fit the format, I can see about taking it to a Kinko's or something.

This google drive link should work.

A 78 Vacuum manual would be great, but I still don't have the 78 Shop manual set.

Some Vacuum manuals use a very unusual paper size, 18x24 I think. Doesn't fit most copiers. Worse comes to worst, use your best digital camera.

Yeah, that is what I had to do.

You may need to download it from that google drive and then host it on this site or whatever it is you have been doing with these files...the page times out when I try to attach the pdf (300mb) in the post.

That is one beautiful f*cking manual. I forgot that 1977 and later had them in color!

We really need these professionally scanned.

For archival purposes.

Does anyone have access to a huge scanner?

Dan, I've never seen that Lincoln-Mercury A/C manual before. Is that already scanned, and available in exchange for another contribution to the forum? My car's a '66 but I assume the '67 A/C is pretty close, is that correct? Thanks.

Check your PMs. I'll trade 66 which I have scanned for the AC manual for 67 if I don't have it.

Is there a difference between these original paper manuals and the Rockauto manuals that are available in cds?

For example these two alternatives are for '62

https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... =11&jsn=11

Which should I choose?

Probably not.

You can buy one from RockAuto or support the forum (if we have it). Which would you rather do? ;-)

Dan, I just bought the 1975-1976 Ford Car Shop Manuals from Dave Graham Auto Literature. These include all Ford products so are not Lincoln exclusive. I can send the files to you electronically if you feel that is acceptable. I'm not sure about whether that would break any patent (not eh right word) laws But let me knw if you want them & how I can get them to you
