Build Sheet - Package Tray

Details such as correct colors, plating material, inspection marks, orientation, and even the number of wipes that should occur for a vacuum-powered windshield wiper system after pushing the "wash" button.

Build Sheet - Package Tray

Post by mge825y »

An unexpected surprise in these old Lincolns usually means something bad or costly. But today was an exception. As the car was being prepped before going to paint shop, a build sheet of sorts was found taped to the package tray. And it gets better - the numbers match my car's production number!

That is interesting.

Not exactly the build sheet. An IBM punch card!
That would have the data for some if not all of how the car was built.

It would be short memory. Come to think of it mine is too

Great find, Mark. Have only seen a few of these from birds and haven't got any for mine. Can you make a copy and forward to me? Hard to read the color code info between Lincoln and T-bird.
