Zimmerman Driving Museum

Post by Stuart M. Cohen »

So today was our last day here in LA and since we had been to the Nethercutt & Peterson museums, we went to the Zimmerman. Nice collection. They rotate about 130 cars and it's a "hands on" museum. There are only a few that they don't want you to touch. They have a 67 convertible, but it wasn't on display, but the 41 Zepher and 36 Town Car were on display. Had a real nice conversation with a docent named Paul and another guy who knows Jim Ayers. Neat place, swing by if you are in the area.

While there, I saw a 69 Tbird with suicide doors. Have heard about them, but never actually saw one. Not my choice in colors, but still neat.
