Any ideas?

Post by MartinM »

Hi all,

Did leather cleaning today....2 hours!
I could not remove the stains in the rear backrest.

See picture. (Picture shows before cleaning)!
It got a little better. Still not good.
Any help would be highly appreciated.....

Thanks in advance

nice car. I had my leather interior touched up by a good auto upholstery shop. They re-dyed and filled some of the sections that were starting to fade and filled in some cracks. Cost me $175 but it looks really good.

I used the Leatherique on other leather interiors with good results. But on my Lincoln which has leather that is not coated or glazed, I used Meguiars APC diluted 5:1 and a small brush to agitate the spots. Took care of some nasty discoloration, but be aware it's alkaline and so wipe with a damp microfiber and condition the leather afterwards.
