Sticky Forum

Post by Dan Szwarc »

Tired of answering questions from Newbies? If you find a topic that has been asked a hundred times and think it should be in this forum, send a link to the topic as a PM to me, and I'll consider moving it here.

Once I set the permissions, users will be able to reply in this forum, but not create topics. That way, the stickies are under control.

What do ya'll think? This was proposed by a member here.

Please post if you can or cannot CREATE a new topic in this forum.
I can't easily test other permissions and don't feel like figuring it out.

Is this what you wanted to know? I can manually change the subject line in the reply by deleting it and adding my own.

Dan, I CAN create a new topic by pressing the "new topic" button. Just like the other threads.

No, I cannot create a new topic.
I'm a Moderator, should I be able to?

I'll try to fix it for moderators. Most topics will get copied here from other forums.
