Tan was offered as a choice for convertible top, along with blue, black and white
1965 was the first year vinyl tops were offered. The brochure says that they were available in black, white, blue, brown and ivy gold.

Just thought I'd spice up the thread with a nice picture.

I'm assuming you mean for 1965.

This is a great idea. Perhaps in another post it would be a good idea to list all of the options year for year too. I have been doing a lot of reasearch on some of the odd 1966-67 dealer options. Its amazing what is hidden out there.

Where'd you find the AMA specs? I've been trying to get copies for '50s-'60s Fords/T-birds. I had a copy of '60 and '61 T-bird a friend gave me in '84 which is long since misplaced. There's a wealth of information on virtually every component in the car that would be very helpful to review for authenticity and general information. Can reprints be found somewhere other than the Detroit Public Library (kinda hard to get there from Omaha).

Good idea. I have the '64 options with prices here:

I think I have a couple of other years somewhere also.

D'OH! Have stayed away from ebay for so long it didn't dawn on me that someone'd be bootlegging copies and selling to the masses...thanks for the tip!

Dan,
I have mailed the requested 1958-1960 information for your spreadsheet
in mail today.
After you fill in the 58-60 blank lines, please let me know if you
need any other 58-60 information for your spreadsheet.
