64 Seat belt mount removal

Post by msloquet »

Hi guys

Going through the interior. Reupholstered seats, rebuilt the seat motor and now Im trying to remove the seatbelt mounts to change out carpet. Is there a trick to get to the head of the bolt as they both have a plastic covering and I cant get a bite on it with a wrench. Any tips on this are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Post a pic of the area in question. I don’t know what plastic covering could be in the way.
I had no issue getting them off my 66.

Just a follow up on the seatbelt bolt size. I'ts a 11/16 Socket to get that puppy out.
