I see no harm is predetermining who wants to do what. You just have to do it officially after the approval.

In the Michigan Region, we have:
  • Director
  • Assistant Director
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Editor
Your first task as an approved region will be to elect officers for at least the Director, Secretary, and Treasurer. The other positions can come later.

Bruce called me last night and said he can send you the information you requested. However, you are already an LCOC member and you should already have a 2008 directory. If you open it up, look for the member listing by US state and find the Netherlands (its at the end somewhere near Norway, England, etc.). There should be about 6 members already joined. There should also be one for Belgium.
Dan, where the hell is Lithuania?

Here's a copy of the email from Bob:
Jur:
I just returned home from visiting friends in Texas and Iowa after the LCOC board Meeting. I asked Dan to let you know that your request for a Netherlands Region was approved. Congratulations. Hold your first organizational meeting with election of officers and send me the minutes to make it offical on your end. Please email me at arborbob41 @ aol.com if you have any questions. I think that it is really great that you will have a Lincoln Region and I will help in any way possible.
Go to our Region web site and check out our newsletters, over 6 years worth.

Again, Congradulations and welcome aboard.

You know, one can attend the meeting without bringing a Lincoln. ;)

If Netherlands Region members PM me with their LCOC membership number, I will grant them access to the ever-so-secret Private LCOC Forum.

@ Jarmo
You are very welcome at our meeting, and attend the ballot at the same time. If you dont come by Lincoln, I can arrange that you park your helicopter alongside our Lincolns. :D

@ Dan
I would like to have access to that "Private LCOC Forum", I will send you a PM tonight with my LCOC membernumber. I informed our Region members via the Dutch Lincoln Forum http://lincoln.computerdokter.eu/viewto ... =33&t=1069 .
