got a little more cut out, these 66 up cars are loads different in construction as opposed to earlier models like my 62... way heavier and alot more involved in cutting it

got some bracing in so it dosnt folt up

and after a ridiculous amount of time got the middle floor cut out

thanks Dan, it was definitely difficult to cut intensely more than my 62 which was cake compared to this 67

also measured for any deflection and not even a 16th off anywhere... really impressed with the rigidity of these cars

Syko, you are definitely a skilled person and are doing things I've never seen anyone do with any car.
It looks like you could literally weld an old Lincoln shell onto a brand new town car giving us the look of a classic with a totally modern drivetrain.

I'm jealous.

that's basically all it truly is.... to be honest its not so much skill as its perseverance and patience to see it through. This one being my second attempt with my first being an obvious success is going to be light years better... I also have some rolling shells of parted cars coming next year that I will go ahead and convert then leave them to a buyer to finish out. And I also want to do one that looks 100% original outside and inside but have 100% updated floorplan and running gear as well. but thats down the line.

Sorry its been awhile since my last update, the holidays, work and other things always tend to interfere but we haven't stopped working on it! his a little update of whats been going on.

the main thing is I brought her donor car home, which is one fine car to be chopping up~! lol but it will give her car a great platform to be reliable and comfortable for her.

heres how she currently sits and in a week or two will be a rolling chassis!
