My 69 project

Post by PowdercoatBill »

How I found it. Them "Redneck boys" in the background wanted to put it on a Subarban chassis!

Image

After a bath and some new (used) wheels. This was the first time it moved under it's own power in over six years!

Image

How it sits now. No motor, trans or paint. But the new top's installed! :)

Image

It'll end up with a gloss black body and wheels and satin black trim. Engine wise will end up gloss black with dark metallic green accents.
I'll post more pics as progress allows.

Oooooohhhh.... Shiny!

Still dig that Monte! I can't wait to get home so I can get back to work on my '66. Maybe this spring we can hit Coyote Joe's together? That'd be cool!

Absolutley! I've been there a few times on Friday night but without a car.
Use to get thrown out on a regular basis when it was the Hayloft!

That looks great Bill! The 460 is such a sharp looking engine. I like the squared off valve covers.

So after the end of June (maybe) mine will be running again - maybe a cruise night at Coyote Joe's? Or the A&W on 14 mile. Two Lincolns would eat up the whole parking lot!
