TiredIronGRB's '60 Lincoln Premiere

Post by TiredIronGRB »

I figured I would start a build thread on my '60 Premiere. I plan to do a '60s style custom out of this one...probably HotRodFlatz metallic gold, lowered a little, with some custom old school wheel covers. I've been driving it to work...it's like driving a small city around. I don't plan to do anything to it that can't be reversed.

TiredIronGRB--
Good pix. I think you enjoy that car alot. What an unusual daily driver. I look at the front & rear ends and think those designers must have been the ones to invent the sixties. What enlightening agents were they taking, anyway? The angles. The taillights. The grille pattern. And look at the boomerang pattern in the upholstery. Wow--you have a real time capsule there. Enjoy!!!

I saw the car for sale (It was mentioned that it had sold) on the hamb from an ad posted in June.

It had a flaked roof and looked rather good.

Oh, it's not a Premiere btw, its a base Lincoln series coupe. The interior is the giveaway (along with lack of Premiere badges).
1960 Premiere Coupe - Cloud Silver / Silver and Black interior. Factory Cruise!
