Brake Booster

Post by mge825y »

Still cleaning out the garage of old parts. Found the brake booster I pulled off my '63 a few years back. It might be a reusable / rebuildable core, but I couldn't find a part number stamped on it. So, I don't know if it was original to the car or replaced at some point. Does anyone know if these were stamped with a part number and where I should look? Below are some pictures. Someone with more familiarity with boosters might be able to determine if it is correct for the '63 or is a generic poser part.

Those 5-bolter boosters are for the early 60s Lincolns, but I'm not sure which ones. There have been a few posts about it.

Look for a stamp on the arm that connects to the pedal.

Booster Dewey can rebuild any booster, but identifying it is another story.

Thanks Dan! Sadly that piece (like the single master cylinder) is MIA.

Anyone need this one piece to rebuild their assembly?
