I've not checked all 5 volumes yet, but some sections/pages seem to be missing.
On volume I, (1971 Shop Manual Vol1 7098-71-1_OCR.pdf) on page 359 there is "17-10-07",
but where is the beginning of section 17-10?
The previous page is blank.
Also on pages 326-327, the book seems to go from "17-05-06" to a repeat of section 16-03.

Re: Missing pages (1971 shop manual)
I could be wrong, but manual number V seems to stop at 50-03-40.
Accordiong to the index, it should at least go up to 50-03-49...

Re: Missing pages (1971 shop manual)
I've never found Volume 5 to be useful, but that's just me. I should probably read mine some day. I might learn something.
Someone loaned me the 1971 issue. I scanned it and returned it. If I made a mistake, I cannot fix it. I no longer have the source material.
I have personally scanned over 10,000 pages of shop manuals and it is a major pain in the ass. Some manuals, the pages are so thin that it is nigh impossible to scan them without jamming at least once every 100 pages. Sometimes pages stick together. Sometimes I might accidentally forget to splice in one of the dozens of PDF files that are created into the final version.
Based on your comments, my guess is I missed the last PDF file to assemble into the final version and everything from 05-03-41 and after is missing.

Dan,
despite these small inconveniences, your work is underrated and highly appreciated,
I can't count how many times I've used the manual.
Thanks again!

Denizen44,
Did you ever find the missing pages? I have a 4 door 71 with all five volumes

No, but thanks so much for the offer.
But Dan was nice enough to let me use the 1970 edition (almost the same).
cheers,
