More parts going back on !!

Front bumper fillers, headlights and doors, signal lights and cornering lights, forgot to paint the centre filler piece bolted to the bumper so that will have to wait until Monday.

Got the Lincoln home for the first time in years, many years lol.

Still lots to do but after I had the alignment done I just had to drive it home for the night!

Cleaned up the engine compartment and replaced the ignition wires with black ones.

Also replaced the Edelbrock 800cfm with a Proform (Holley) 650cfm, much happier now.

I generally don’t like modified cars, but I can see loving this one.

Going to get the windows tinted tomorrow.

Then I need to fix the AC, having issues with the ATC i think so will have to sort that out.

Ya it's happening.

So I brought the car into the shop to remove the vinyl roof as it did not turn out as nice as I would have liked. Doing so I decided to buzz down the clear coat.

So then I might as well polish all the stainless trim and fix a dent from some numpty opening door in the parking lot.

Then while I was lifting it up the floor jack it slipped and dented the oil pan, so now I gotta pull the engine.

And since I'm pulling the engine we painted it it with the nice Eastwood ceramic engine paint.

Then I might as well replace the torque convertor with a nicer 2200 stall one which will make it drive so much better.

In the Army we used to call this mission creep lol, starts off small and just grows!

Thanks fellas, yes i prefer the gauges to be under the hood, they just don't look right attached to the dash. Plus if you're checking on things the hood will be up anyways right lol!

Got the vinyl and all the trim removed from the roof and started the body work getting it ready for paint.

It should be ready for final blocking by the end of the week and hopefully be painted next week!
