I dunno, I just watched a 77 Chevy Mailbu get hauled out of my garage. Only GM product I ever cared for. Wayne

So, my parts car went off to the crusher back in December, 2 weeks before Xmas, and I have been rearranging the garge to get back into restoration work. Body work can wait. I am doing the little things, refinishing all of the clips, brackets, and fasteners that are in hundreds of bags about the garage.
Side marker bracket blasted and before. This will be done in faux zinc-dichromate.

Body mount after blasting and original (not repainted).

Bracket powder coating with one original condition

Bags and bags of refinished parts. About half of the total.

I have managed to solve my body mount problem with a 68 Ford Galaxie mount kit. I have lots of extra parts, but managed to replace 90% of the rubber that no one carried. No one has done their cross-reference homework regarding the rubber itself. Heck, even Ford’s own numbers don’t match, but I found matches in width and thickness.

Yeah. Winter 2018, 19, 20, etc.

I think I can get all the powder coating done this winter. If I stay on it.

Been following Dan's restoration since the beginning. Any progress on the project? I've got a project I'm going to be posting soon to the forum as well. My inspiration was Dan's restoration of his 1970 Mercury Marquis Convertible.
