Convertible Cornering Weights

Post by mjabbasi »

I'm sure everyone is familiar with that dead weight on every corner of the 61-63 convertibles used to minimise vibration at high speeds, but has anyone actually removed them and if so noticed any visible difference when driving without that extra 100 lbs weighing down the car?

Hi Moin,

Good to see you're still around.

Hope all is well.

Sorry, the board's resident mechanical moron can't help you; just wanted to say "hi".
