If I understand the question, hook up the Optima and short out the relay contacts behind the rear seat to unscrew the top. Without a working pump you will need to undo the bolts behind the rear bumper to release the deck lid cylinders. Grab a strong friend or two, pull up the deck lid, and prop it in place.

i am looking for the top hand holder that goes under the dash the hold the top switch?

I got the top up manually. The pump is not working. Here are pictures of some broken parts.

I manufacture a correct replacement for the bracket that holds the top switch in place under the dash for 1961 - 1963 Lincolns.
It is custom cast out of aluminum and finished in satin black. Looks just like the original, but will never break.
