It would be interesting to know how many Lincoln's were kept running and in the hands of their respective owners directly because of this forum. You can count mine as one, for sure. Good job! You have my congratulations and thanks.

I just noticed my join date. I joined the forum and the LCOC when I got my '77 Town Car in 2002.
Thanks again, Dan.

This forum is a great source of information, advice and parts. Many thanks especially to Dan and also to the other contributors. Doesn't seem like it would be possible for many of us to restore, repair or maintain these cars without the forum.

I am a relative newcomer compared to most who have written but I can only "ditto" what they have said. I would have been lost several times without the forum's help. Moreover, just muddling through some aspects of the old car hobby around this one particular brand has been made more enjoyable when it is shared with others of like mind.
It's scary to think it could go away as fast as it came about though. We have seen that happen before with sole source suppliers and fabricators. We should take out an insurance policy on Dan....but oh Dan, seriously, have you given any thought to handing this off someday or what happens to it should, God forbid, something should happen to you?
On another note, I have spent the last 3 months refreshing my knowledge and coding skills in Wordpress and PPhB. For those who think the only effort Dan has undertaken is financial support of this forum, there is a ton of backend work and maintenance involved. So for that which shows and that which doesn't, thank you Dan!

Thanks Dan as others have already posted it is a great wealth of knowledge that has been compiled here that is a great help. This forum has helped me refresh a lot of knowledge that I have gained working on cars for the last 50+ years, and am glad to share that knowledge with the the Lincoln enthusiast here.

At the time of writing (January 5th 2015) Dan's posts numbered 22861.
That's about 1524 per year for almost 15 years or more than 4 per day every day for 15 years. And that is dedication in anyone's language.
It will be interesting to see the count on the 16th of June this year. Congratulations Dan.
