1972 Lincoln Continental Sedan Power Windows
All the power windows just quit working. I replaced the fuse and circuit breaker and still get nothing. Any ideas in what I should check next?

There is a relay under the hood high on the firewall, just to the left of the center of the car.

Well, there you are; I knew immediately that your symptoms were caused by relay failure, but I did not know where it would be located on a '72. Charles just told you.
To elaborate, that relay is a safety relay, meant to distribute power to the windows only when the key is on. These relays do tend to malfunction over time; and since the bypass feature was deleted after '69 (a mistake, I think, but it is what it is), that means your only choice is to either fix or replace that relay.
