I did not know that the german did accept the turn signal on the Lincoln.
They do it this way. Get a turn signal ting mounted with magnet tape. Get the car through inspection and remove the turn signal after ward.
And drive it for the next 7 year before the next inspection.

For years it was not legal to have red turn signal on the rear. Until 1977 it’s now legal.

Let me know if you find the contact in the steering column that makes those cornering lamps operate. My turn stalk hangs down too far and so the cornering lamp is stuck on for the left side. I ended up taking those bulbs out.

I have the full schematics for 1977. They are available for a donation to the forum and I’ll even include the full shop manual and the MPCS for the same $20.
