Headlights Issue

Post by niveklincoln »

My main headlight and high beam light go out only on the passenger side when I hit the high beam floor switch. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Have you tried to replace the bulbs? If that did not fix the problem, then check the wiring for that side of the car.

2X on the bulbs. The low beam lamp has two filaments, one for the low beam and one for the high. The high beam lamp is a single filament, so it's possible, though not probable, that the high beam filaments are out on both lamps. If not I would suspect that the high beam feed wire interconnecting the left and right side headlights has a break or open in it between the two sides.
