The unmarked button from your '61 radio should fit, you could have AM engraved by a very talented artist. That radio, if not already refurbished, will at the very least, need the capacitors replaced. Any classic radio rebuilder, could help with those issues.

Typical Ford built AM Radio of the 1960s
There will be two wires for speakers. Typically these are paired in a connector.
The red and blue wire is for illumination of the radio face when the head lights are turned on
There will be a fourth wire for power
The ground is supplied by the radio chassis case through the mounting
