Battery Size

Post by jz78dje »

After getting my Mariner Hybrid a while back my 93 TC is now rarely used, and needs a new battery. I thought I'd rather by a new battery for my van and put that one in the TC. The van batery is group 34 and the TC battery is group 65. The terminal layout is the same, and although smaller I'm sure it will be safely secured by the hold down in the TC. Also, the CCA rating is the same.

Anyone see a problem with using the smaller battery in the TC.

If it starts the car, it is fine.
