Maxlife ATF and Mercon V

Post by daves »

Can Maxlife Dex/Merc be used in a transmission that calls for Mercon V? The bottles don't list Mercon V but the Valvoline website does. It's confusing

If the website says yes you should be ok as it's usually backwards compatible. I found this product on Valvoline's website which may be a better choice: http://www.valvoline.com/our-products/a ... plications.
