Best Fluid For My 1973

Thinking of changing the fluid - no leaks and shifts silky smooth, but fluid is almost 33 years old since last change. What fluid do you recommend I use?

What's in your owner's manual? Type F. You could use synthetic, I guess.

Don't change it. The seals inside are ancient and drying up. Changing the fluid may cause more problems than leaving it.
