Thinking of selling the Hudson

Postby Stuart M. Cohen » Sat Jul 03, 2021 9:33 pm

So I'm thinking about selling the 30 Hudson. Can only drive 1 car at a time and have 3 that I can drive. Email me if you want details or know anyone who is.

Trade for my 03 Town Car? She's rusted, rough, and only half of the electronics work. Radio is non functional and the dash lights come and go...Wayne

6 that are roadworthy, 3 that are close, a bunch of future prospects, and about 20 for parts. I am not a hoarder, hunting and gathering is normal human nature!
I have found that people always want the ones that you DON'T want to sell!

It's for sale. I'm the 4th owner of the car, which has never left the south Jersey area. I have the history of the car from my buddy, and it was originally sold by the Hudson, Essex, Packard, REO, White, International dealer in my town. Previous Owner did a complete restoration in the 1980s and I sent the car to Charlie Salvato who owns Gaslight Garage in Long Island. He did a ton of mechanical work on the car and it runs well. It does need paint, but I'm pretty sure there's no rust on the body. The car is full of neat art deco details, from the dash, to the scalloped fenders to the step to get in the rumble seat. Put a good paint job on it and you've got a 90 point show car. There is a moth hole in the headliner, and I think the rope cork needs to be replaced since there is an antifreeze leak. $30,000 OBO. Contact me for more details. Link to ad on HET club forum:

I doubt you’ll get any bites on this forum, but do you want me to move this post to For Sale?

Crap, forgot it wasn't in the "for sale" section.

Sure, thanks.
